Personal data that we process
Clever Republic B.V. (hereinafter referred to as Clever Republic) processes personal data that you provide to us in the context of job applications. This may include:
– Name, address, place of residence;
– Personal data;
– Identifying data;
– Data required for communication;
– Financial data;
– Employment or data relating to working conditions;
– Career data;
– Contractual data.
Who is responsible for processing your personal data?
Clever Republic’s management is a data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Clever Republic has a Privacy Officer as an internal supervisor, who oversees Clever Republic’s careful handling of personal data. For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Your data will only be used for the management, contact and control of the entire application process. Our reason for processing is because we have a legitimate interest.
How long do we store personal data?
Clever Republic must comply with various laws and regulations.
Therefore, we apply retention periods on the provision of personal data during the application period.
For Letters of Application, forms, correspondence regarding the application, certificates, we apply the following time limits:
If you are not hired:
– 4 weeks after termination of application procedure without consent, under the GDPR.
– 1 year after termination of the application process with the applicant’s consent, under the GDPR.
If hired:
– 7 years after termination of contract, under the National Tax Act.
With whom do we share personal data?
Clever Republic does not sell your data to third parties. Nor do we share your data with other parties.
Retaining personal data for longer
The right to erasure and the right to be forgotten are not absolute, but must be weighed against other rights and interests. In a limited number of cases, it is permissible to keep data longer. For example, if a person commits crimes and the captured data is necessary for investigation. This may result in an extension of the retention period.
How we secure personal data
Clever Republic takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
Inspection, modification or deletion of data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing, or object to the processing of your personal data by Clever Republic.
You can make a request by sending an email to privacy@cleverrepublic.com We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but at the latest within four weeks. However, this deadline may be extended by two months for reasons related to specific privacy rights or the complexity of the request. If we extend this deadline, we will notify you within the first month.
