Clever Republic helped DELA with an analysis of the opt-in strategy in 2018. The project was performed as part of a larger GDPR project. The problem of our client was that it was not clear what the organization was allowed to do with the gathered personal data of their clients. CR performed a scan of all data-entry points where personal data entered the organization an made an inventory of the opt-in clauses, the involved processes and responsible officers. Secondly the desired strategy was drawn up in accordance with the compliance department where we described the definitions of the different opt-in options and created a clear infographic. Finally, we implemented the new opt-in strategy throughout the organization, making sure that it was absolutely clear what is and what is not possible with personal data.
